We act as quarterback to your third-party service providers, coordinate audit and tax prep, and manage the investor relations workflow that most managers either bolt together themselves or overpay for elsewhere.We also handle the ad hoc work that piles up fast: cashflow projections, LP pipeline tracking, vendor cost comparisons, data management. And we do the less visible work of getting the entity right from the start, clean vendor engagement, compliant document retention, audit trails that hold up when someone actually looks.It's the work that isn't worth a principal's time, but creates real problems with auditors and regulators if it's ignored. Good plumbing is invisible when it works. You only notice it when it doesn't, and by then it's expensive.
About the Founder - Brandon Chu
Before launching Proechelon, Brandon served as Managing Partner and CFO/COO of 151 Capital Management, a Dallas based investment firm focused on bespoke, market uncorrelated strategies. Earlier in his career, Brandon held roles at Alcentra and Ellington Management Group, where he participated in over $1 billion of institutional capital raising. He began his career in Bloomberg LP’s fixed income and structured credit group, specializing in bond pricing and cash flow modeling, after earning his Finance degree from the University of Pittsburgh. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys playing volleyball, baking sourdough bread, and reading. Some of his favorite books include A Man Called Ove, Thinking, Fast and Slow, and The Three Body Problem trilogy.
